We have equipped the PowerScan PD9530-DPM Evo Imager series with the latest optics and software so that the capture of DPM codes is easy and intuitive. Depending on which DPM technology and which material was used, how high the code resolution is and how the surface is structured, the typical reading distance from contact ranges up to 4-5 cm. The scanner can also capture barcodes on labels. The imagers are based on high-resolution optics. This enables the detection of very small, high-resolution codes in a distance range of almost 0 to 15 cm.
The new lighting system is based on a calm, white light, which can also be seen in scan-intensive applications The user is hardly stressed or irritated.
The user's natural processes are recorded via the Motionix™ technology and the scanner reacts to this by automatically switching to the appropriate scan mode.
